If we talk about the big investments, one thing that people
spend their whole life's hard-earned money is real estate. No matter whether
you are extremely rich or a common man saving every penny to buy a home for his
family, you can't afford to make an impulsive decision and turn your moment of
joy into remorse by settling down for something you never wanted. The list of
the options that any average home seeker can look for in the real estate market
includes:
Condominiums
Condominiums are the individual flats located in a
multi-story building. The condominium building generally has its own recreation
centers, parks, shopping hubs and is governed by an association that determines
the monthly fee and takes care of the maintenance and improvement of the building.
The major drawback of living in a condominium is the lack of privacy and
increased depreciation during a housing- market downturn.
Foreclosure Property
Foreclosure properties are known to be an inexpensive
alternative for the people looking for a previously owned home that require
minor repairs and modifications. A foreclosure property is also known as Real
Estate Owned property and is often owned by the lender as the previous owner
defaulted on paying back loan. Foreclosure properties are usually up to 65%
below the market and are considered to be best deals on the market.
I purchased this warranty because I'm a single mother of 3 children. My 1st service request the electrician came into my house with no mask, had to replace a smoke alarm and brought no batteries and replaced a GFI. I paid him then service fee as stated in the contract. A couple days later I experience the same problem and he came back out only to charge me again! Next, I filled out a customer service request for my heater as it is 54 degrees in my home. The technician came and said my heater was fine but I needed an ignition control. I spoke to Homeservice Club who informed me that I needed a new unit which would cost me over thousands of dollars. I spoke with the technician and he told me that is not what he said as a matter of fact he said the blower was working and that he could fix this. When I contacted the company again their story changed, not once but 3 times. I told them I wanted to cancel my contract and they informed me I would have to pay almost $400 for the electrician who I paid twice for. The representative told me the cancellation would contact me. I then spoke to another rep and told them I had a statement from the technician and I wanted them to fix my heater per the technician and they informed me they would not as I had cancelled my contract and the case was closed. No one explained that to me I was only told I would be hearing from the cancellation department to confirm if I wanted to cancel. Finally, after I got a hold of a manager and explained my situation and told her NOT to charge my credit card on file and she assured me it wouldn't. Well, they charged my credit card and I am just disgusted with how this company operates. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!
